Look what “Corporate” Worship could produce

.
If the true worshipper doesn’t worship the Lord in spirit and in truth, there is no telling what the individual worship leader may have the Church doing.
.
We have to know when to be bold and sit down while others attempt to make fools out of themselves.  Either sit down and watch them make fools out of themselves or exit out on the first train smoking.  If they look at you funny for not participating, so what??

mess us up, mess us up, in Your presence O’God. catchy.

The epitome of sheer foolishness. It amazes me when then these buffoons talk about encounters with God. They always seem to never humble themselves in the so-called presence. They question God, give demands or even argue with the Almighty God. However when the bible describes a few occasions when true men of God saw the Almighty. Their behaviour was totally different. These men have no idea of who and what God is in relationship with man. God does not visit these people. It’s ashame so many poor saps will follow these disillusion men. I thought I was watching a rock concert video. Disgraceful, dispicable and a dead “worship” experience I just witness. WWJD. I’m sure he wouldn’t have the cake and ice cream with them. Mess them up alright. Turn the pastor, keyboardist, drummer and choir over upside down right on their head. Maybe they might get some sense. So sad

God must have messed David up too, because he danced right out of his clothes! David wasn’t stretched out prostrate. We can’t see into these peoples hearts. Were they sinning? By the way, what is the “correct” model for “worship”?

  4. Deacon Butler

I’m sorry DTG (love me or hate me). I don’t know how you plugged king David into this mess, because David was expressing his appreciation for God allowing him to bring the “ark of the covenant” back to Jerusalem. But why are these fools in the video dancing? Is it because a devotion leader got them pumped up, or is it because of the catchy beat that the musician started playing. And yes these fools are sinning, because the bible says, “For whatsoever is not of faith it is sin (Rom 14:23).

timotheus, what has faith got to do with these people dancing?

  6. Deacon Butler

Hey Ange, you asked, “what does faith have to do with these people dancing”. If they were cutting a fool at a club then I would say that faith has nothing at all to do with these people dancing. But since they are at a so-called place of worship and they are suppose to be praising the Lord of host, who is holy, then I would say that faith has everything to do with how we worship and praise the Lord God. Don’t you think?
